How to get the perfect Domain for your business...

People, people, people...everyday I'm amazed with the incredible amount of business owners (not new business owners) that haven't acquired their business names domain, and it makes me wonder, what the hell are they thinking? Sorry for the language, but it gets me crazy!

We are in 2015, the Internet has proof that it came to be part of our daily lives and it's not going anywhere soon. I have some recommendations for new business owners and soon to become business owners, as soon as you check that your "Fictitious Name" is available at Sunbiz.org, please go get the domain. It doesn't even mean that you're going to have to make a Website, which I strongly recommend, but at least you have it in your possession and nobody will be able to take it from you, if you continue to pay for it.

There are lot of companies that you can buy your domain from, I personally use GoDaddy, and I've been using them for the past 10 years and never had a problem with them before. They have 24 hours customer service and the prices are really good.

You can buy your domain anywhere from .99 cents for the first year up to $19,99 per year, usually you will pay around $14.99 after the first year ends. Domains are exactly the same in any company, so don't be fooled with offers, unless you know what kind of aditional services you are buying and for what you are buying them.

Usually I buy two or three domains for my companies, for example my first business name, which I still own and operate is Unique Art Distributors, I posses two domains for that company: www.uniqueartdistributors.com and www.uadist.com

Both of these Websites will take you to the same page. Why I have both? Well there is two reasons for that, first, is the name of my business, that's the obvious one and second, "uadist" is a short abbreviation of my business name that I often use on labels and other printed and packaging materials.

In the image above you can see that if you do a Google search for: Art Distributors, Wholesale Art Distributors, Framed Art Distributors, Framed Art Distributors in Miami or Art Distributors in Miami you will see that we come on the first page for all of those searches, in our course I will show you some tricks on how to achieve those results. Getting to the first page of Google can be hard, if you notice at the top of the page you see that there are 1.5 million results for that search, but it's not impossible.

I have spent over 15 years learning how to do all this for my businesses and it's my passion to show others how to do it for themselves. I believe that anyone with the proper information is able to do the same for their business. When the course comes available in June 2015, I will show you some tricks to get the proper name, domain name and how to land on the first page results.
